General topics and discussions don't have to be tagged. Movies should be posted with the following title format
[Movie] Movie Title (Release year) - Genre
e.g. [Movie] Glengary Glen Ross (1992) - Drama
Again this allows for better searches, especially when a member is in the mood for a specific era or genre.
Please remember, a good review doesn't give away too much, you want to entice people to watch not spoil it for them. Provide a basic synopsis and give us your opinions, and rating, of the movie.
The discussions that follow the review, on the other hand, should be completely open and in depth, therefore those who have not yet seen the movie should be aware of potential spoilers.
Speaking of spoilers, when discussing movie news you can warn people who might not want to know too many details(spoilers) in two ways. One a simple spoiler warning up top or in the topic title, the second by advanced features, selecting black as your font colour, and then quoting the text for spoilers. This will produce a black box that can be highlighted if the viewer chooses to read them
For example, this little box here could say Brad Pitt will have a surprise cameo in Scorcese's latest film 'blahblah' and Ben Affleck will play a rock
Hope this isn't all too anal for you, just trying to keep it clean and give everyone easy access for movie nights
